From the moment you walk into The Harvey Academy, the joyful energy is unmistakable.
All classes from 3rd through 12th grade use the Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt curriculum.
In addition, 3rd through 5th grade students enjoy weekly activities and participate in music, science experiments, PE, golf, and art.
Students in grades 6 through 12 participate in daily electives including musical theater, art, CrossFit, home economics, logic and reasoning and Spanish.
For lunch, students may bring a lunch from home, or there are a variety of lunch options students can choose from that are delivered to the school daily. Lunches are ordered locally from Al Forno Pizza, 3 Natives, Bolay, and Baldino's Italian Restaurant.
Recess for all students is a daily occurrence where students play touch football, wiffle ball, soccer, or simply take a stroll around Paradise Park.
The school year is a perfect balance of work and play. Nancy and her staff teach for 9 weeks followed by a 2 or 3-week break, depending on the season. Please see the calendar for further information.
